Fair credit

Both sides of the ledger

What FeedHive does well

Nine networks from one composer, including the big visual ones: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Google Business and Threads. (source, 2026-08-27)

The AI goes past drafting: tone-of-voice generation, performance prediction on posts before they publish, and best-time-slot suggestions. (source, 2026-08-27)

A visual workflow builder for automation pipelines, plus content recycling that suggests which past posts are worth republishing. (source, 2026-08-27)

Approval workflows and a unified social inbox ship as part of the product, not as bolt-ons. (source, 2026-08-27)

Where FeedHive stops

No free plan. Every tier sits behind a 7-day trial, and the entry Creator plan is €19 a month billed monthly. (source, 2026-08-27)

The Creator tier is tight for the price: 30 scheduled posts total, a 14-day scheduling horizon, and 4 social accounts. (source, 2026-08-27)

AI and automation are both metered. AI credits run from 5K a month on Creator to 200K on Agency, and automation runs from 500 to 100K, so heavy use means climbing the ladder. (source, 2026-08-27)

Closed source and SaaS only. There is no self-host option and no code to inspect or fork. (source, 2026-08-27)

Honesty

Who should stay with FeedHive

If you publish to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or Pinterest, stay with FeedHive. Those networks are in our catalog as planned work, and they publish in FeedHive today.

If a visual no-code automation builder is how you want to work, FeedHive's workflow tooling has no equivalent in our app right now.

If you run an agency on client workspaces, FeedHive's Business and Agency tiers are built for that scale in a hosted product, and our hosted version has not launched.

FeedHive is one of the more serious AI-first schedulers. Performance prediction before a post goes out, a visual automation builder, content recycling that names the posts worth a second run: these are features most competitors describe and FeedHive ships. The catch is the meter. AI is counted in credits, automation in runs, and both allowances are what separate a €19 plan from a €299 one.

GrowSocialelion removes the meter by removing the billing relationship. The AGPL app is free to run, so AI use is bounded by your own model costs, not a plan tier. Approval is the core design rather than a workflow feature: the agent proposes, you approve, per action type. And where FeedHive's code is theirs alone, ours is public, so the exit path is a fork instead of an export.
